Today’s post is a follow-up to my previous one about complimenting teachers in your building. I hope you did your homework and made someone’s day! =)
Everyone loves a little recognition, so I make a point to give my students certificates for a job well done. Whether they’ve made the honor roll, shown outstanding effort, or just kept a tidy desk, they light up when they see their name on a shiny certificate. I laminate the certificates, add sparkly stickers, and put the students’ pictures on our classroom website. What a great motivator!
Here’s a freebie set of clean desk notes that I leave on clean desks with little treats. If you like them, you can find more certificates in my TpT store.

I love these, especially the frog ones! Thank you for sharing! I'm your newest follower!

I'm a 6th grade teacher, and we are having a really big problem keeping desks neat. Even though this is a little on the younger side, I think I'm going to try it. What 6th grader doesn't want to find a little candy bar treat on their desk occasionally? I LOVE the frogs!
