I blogged about our Mother’s Day ideas two weeks ago to encourage you to get a jump start on your projects. Did you take my advice? I’d love to see your pictures if you did. There are a ton of linky parties right now, so I was hesitant to start one. I really do want to see your projects though! You can share them with us over on Facebook or leave a comment here with your links.

I decided to try a little something extra with our pots this year by painting them before adding fingerprints. I didn’t think it was possible, but I love them even more this way. The pictures below show it best, even though it was still a little wet so I hadn’t written around the edges yet. I hope all the mothers adore them. You can grab a copy of our poems if you still need a little note to go with your projects.
It’s also May (where did April go???) which means it’s time for Farley’s monthly currently.

So cute!!!
Love those gifts!! I loved Ed Emberly as a kid and my students still check out those books. Your pageant and platform is great. I think I do have too many projects going…I need to finish something, lol!! Have a great weekend.

LOL, well in that case GOOD LUCK finishing something up. 🙂
Those are adorable! Here's what my kiddos will be doing for Mother's Day next week. It's a link to my website showing the writing page students will fill out:

I have to pinch myself to make sure it isn't a dream. No snow days this year!
