We’ve had a beautiful weekend here in Ohio. My husband and I squeezed in some much-needed quality time and had a low-key weekend. We also (finally!) finished putting the fall decorations outside. This is a pic of our pup at the pumpkin patch. She was a little overwhelmed. 🙂
Have you heard about the linky party Cynthia is hosting over at 2nd Grade Pad? She’s hosting a You’ve Been Boo’d linky that is similar to one you might have played at school already. In case you haven’t heard of it, it’s played by leaving a treat and note in someone’s mailbox or on their door. After enjoying the treat, the person you boo’d then boo’s someone else by sharing another treat and a new note. It’s a fun way to appreciate each other and it’s always nice to find a little surprise in your mailbox at work!
I don’t typically participate in a lot of these types of linkys where you tag someone else to pass it on, but this one seems like a nice way to show your appreciation so I’m breaking my own rules. I think it‘s also a good way to learn about new blogs out here in blog-land.
Even if you haven’t been boo’d yet, you can still start by booing someone else. When you boo them, they get to pick a free item out of your store. Yay! I grabbed this fun Spooktacular Math & Literacy Stations bundle from Cynthia’s store when she boo’d me. I had actually picked one of the single stations out, but she sent me the whole bundle because that’s what kind of a lady she is. 🙂 I love using TpT items in my centers because they save me so, so much time. Just look at how cute this one is!
I decided to boo:
Christina over at Bunting, Books, and Bainbridge. She has such great ideas. If you aren’t already following her, you definitely should be! 🙂

Heather over at Kickin’ It With Class. She’s a newer blogger you might have missed. She also teaches third grade, which I’m sort of biased about. =)

Krista over at Stellar Students. Krista and I started blogging around the same time. She’s a fabulous fourth grade teacher. I love all of her social studies posts!

Before you go, I made these Boo graphics that you can use in your school. The teacher version really is a great way to boost your colleagues and have a little fun along the way. I love seeing the “treats” everyone picks out for each other. Some of them are pretty funny. I also made a student version in case you want to Boo your class.

This is such a cute freebie, I'll have to start this tradition at my school. We already ELF each other for Christmas, why not BOO too?
Also, I'd be honored if you'd be able to join up with me on the Halloween-themed giveaway that I'll be hosting on my blog starting next Friday. My intention is to spotlight quality Halloween products for the upper grades!! If so, please send me a reply whenever you're able detailing what you'd be able to contribute!
Thanks!

Thanks for linking up to my party. I LOVE the freebie you are offering. (I added a shoutout about it to my post).
Have a GREAT day! 🙂

Thank you so much for the Boo freebie! I love to surprise my co workers with little treats and your designs/cards will make it so much more fun and engaging! Now all I have to do is choose some spooktacular treats to go with the appreciation cards! Thanks for the inspiration!
