I feel so conflicted about what to say in response to the tragic events in Connecticut Friday. I honestly have no words. My thoughts, prayers, and condolences are with those affected and the countless others reeling as we all attempt to understand this senseless violence.
To further show my respect, I’m joining a large group of teacher-bloggers in silence to honor and remember the victims and their families. Please join us by blogging “Silence for Sandy Hook Elementary” and posting this picture only on your blog and Facebook page this Sunday, December 16th.
“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief… and unspeakable love.” —Irving
