Motivating and Recognizing Students!

Oh friends, I am so excited to share this fun idea with you today. We spend a lot of time talking about student engagement and motivation at our school. Of course we want our students to be intrinsically motivated, but let’s be honest… that doesn’t always happen. Besides, isn’t it kind of nice to get “stuff” as an adult too?


Enter…. BragTags from imagestuff.com! They are so cute and the students LOVE them. Seriously. They’re dog tags (of various shapes) that students can collect on key chains or necklaces. I thought about waiting to launch them next school year, but I just couldn’t wait. I decided they tied in nicely with the New Year/resolutions so I went for it mid-year.

You get the point. =) They’re extra motivation for students who need it and a nice reward for those students who are already excelling.

Just look how cute our “starter tag” is. The process (or the price for that matter) couldn’t be any better.
