Last week I featured an app that was all about the freebies, so this week I feel less guilty about sharing a paid app {plus it’s one of my favorites!}. Book Creator is my favorite book-creating app because it’s perfect for publishing your students’ stories. There are a lot of writing apps out there, but this one is so user friendly and has a lot of great features. I think it was well worth the $4.99.
The highlights:
- Books can be read right on your ipad’s bookshelf/library app.
- Export books in PDFs that can be sent through email, websites, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.
- Record yourself reading each page of text
- Super user-friendly to customize (fonts, colors, pictures)
I can’t embed it, but here’s a video of the app in action: http://vimeo.com/redjumper/bookcreator
Check out that screen shot from my autobiography project! Notice the little speaker near the bottom middle? When students click it, they can hear me read the page.
Love! Have you made any ipad books with your students? What did you use?

Love this! I'm pinning right now!
