We’re working our way through my solar system unit as we march toward the end of the year. I save it for last each year because it keeps the students so engaged. I always learn something new too. It’s totally a win-win in those last crazy days {assessment overload, anyone?}. With just one week left we are baaarely hanging on, friends!
Anyway, I updated my spelling/word work for the unit so I wanted to share it with you. It has twenty space words to unscramble with five different ways to practice them. It’s great for spelling, word work, and solar system review. I didn’t take the time to make a preview or cute cover yet, so for now it’s just on Google Docs. Please grab it if you can use it.
I also wanted to direct you to a new blog that you’ll want to follow. Cynthia from 2nd Grade Pad is moving up to 4th grade next year. She was my very first Design by Christi blog client so I was so happy to work with her again on her new blog. She has tons of great ideas and I know she’ll rock it out in 4th grade with the rest of us upper elementary teachers. =) You can click her button to hop on over.

We do a space unit at the end of each school year as well! It really does keep the kiddos engaged. They learn so much and love every minute of it!
