I don’t share a ton of personal/family things here on Ms. Fultz’s Corner, but I’m making a little exception today. For those of you who don’t know, my husband is in medical school. He just finished his first two years of course work and took his boards. This means he’s getting ready to start two years of hospital rotations, followed by residency for who knows how many years after that. It makes for long days and long nights. He studies a ton. But, that’s part of the reason I started my little online adventure; I needed something equally time-consuming to do with myself. 😉 It turned out to be a complete blessing as my extra income makes up for his lack of one. I am thankful to be able to do something I love and support my family at the same time. The friendships I’ve made with teachers all over is icing on the cake. I appreciate you all!
Anyway, our two year anniversary is coming up and hubby has one week left before his rotations start so I’m going to put my blog on autopilot this week and take a bloggy break. If you don’t hear back from me right away, don’t fret; I’ll catch up next week.
As a little going away present, some of my bloggy friends and I are doing a small Facebook Freebie hop. You can click on over to my fan page and look for the aqua freebie hop button right beside my like button to get started. It runs until Tuesday night so be sure to grab them quickly!
See ya next week. Happy anniversary, honey!!

So sweet! Enjoy your time. Your pictures are beautiful. 🙂

Teacher's Toolkit
Just wanted to let you know that we have something in common. I teach 4th grade but my husband is in his third year of residency in family medicine. The end is in sight for us and things are starting to get easier and more fun! So, when the nights get long know that I've walked in your shoes and you have a teacher friend out there who completely understands. In the meantime, keep using the extra time alone to work on teacher stuff…it always filled the hours for me!
That brought tears to my eyes. It is such a long, tiring journey. Congrats on the light at the end of your tunnel! 🙂
