Hey, friends! We just finished our first week of school and I have to confess that I am tired, tired, tired. Launching a classroom is exhausting. Routines, procedures, expectations, connections… practice, practice, and more practice. I know I don’t have to tell you that though. =) This is my ninth year and while it gets easier every year, it is still so.much.work getting a new group of kiddos working together smoothly. By the end of the day Thursday, I looked at my student teaching and told her I thought we were going to be okay. ha!
As a celebration {and a thank you!} for all of your hard work and dedication, I am participating in the big TeachersPayTeaches back to school sale. I’ll put all of my items on sale for 20% off and TpT will give you a coupon code for an addition 10% off. You know I love that because *my* wish list is full of stuff too.
Christina Bainbridge has put together a fun linky party to help you find great resources for your classroom too. It’s designed in the spirit of those high school yearbook awards. I was voted most likely to succeed by the way… true story! I’d show you the picture but no one wants to see me in 12th grade, and even if you do ain’t no way I’m sharing THAT! 😉 Here’s the current version though:
I love, love, love our monthly units. Students love the themes and I love that they blend all the different subject areas. I have my fall set of units finished and promise to get my spring set cleaned up and posted later this year. It’s hard to pick just one unit as my favorite, but the Johnny Appleseed unit is up there because it’s the first one we do each year. You can click here to see the rest with themes to get you through January.
I picked my multiplication bundle for this because mastering math facts is so, so important. If students can’t fluently answer the basic math facts, they don’t have enough leftover processing power to solve more complex math problems. My bundle has coloring sheets that are perfect for warm ups, homework, or sub plans. The bundle also has centers with game boards to reinforce math facts too. They come separately, but the bundle is a better deal (especially on sale!)/ I also have an addition/subtraction set for those of you who aren’t working with multiplication yet.
This duo is the perfect pair. I mean, polka dots, bright colors, educational content… how could you go wrong? I display these posters in our room, but also make mini reference books for my students. I showed them off in my classroom reveal if you want to see how great they look around our room. The reading set has 21 genres and the writing set has 28 posters with 10 pages of teacher tips.
Okay… we all have shopping to do so I won’t keep you any longer. Visit Christina’s linky to see more great resources that will be on sale Sunday and Monday. Don’t forget to use the coupon code for your bonus savings!

Christi, your things look amazing!! Good luck with the sale!
