Y’all, I am so excited! My sweet, sweet nephew turned 1 last week. I can hardly believe it has been an entire year since we sat in the waiting room for over 12 hours hoping to meet the little guy sooner rather than later.
Then I turned around and the little cutie was a year old and such a big, handsome boy. Where does time go?! Watching him opening his presents and devouring his cake was just priceless. Loved every second.
Aside from getting Luke a pretty awesome bat mobile, I also got him a personalized book. He loves books! Honest! My brother called one day last week to tell me Luke was reading to himself in the back seat of the truck on the way home from “school”. How precious is that?? I got him Moo, Baa, La La La! when he was born because I saw it in the grocery store and thought it was just too cute. If you haven’t seen it, here it is:
Anyway, because he loves books so much I wanted to get him one for his first birthday that he could grow into and keep as a memory. I needed something special, personal, and fun too so he’d enjoy reading it. Then I found this Pinterest board… and ended up with this:
Shut up! A personalized ABC Book? It’s so precious. Look inside. His name is worked into the illustrations, from jerseys to rocket ships.
Can you imagine seeing that as a little kid? YOUR name in a book? Love, love, love. You can get 15% off the ABC book I bought by using coupon code “ABC” through the end of August. I have my eye on the fairy tale and pirate one too.

Too.Many.Choices. If he were bigger, I’d totally get him a personalized lunch box too. His room is decorated with a baseball theme, and I have a feeling he’s going to be sporty like his dad.
I keep telling my husband we’re in trouble when we have our own kids because there’s no way I can pass this cute stuff up. Seriously. =) Here’s the link so you can check it all out. {Psst, sign up for discounts first! or use coupon code BTS2013 for $10 off $50 through August.}
They’re on Facebook too if you need closer looks. You’ll have to share what you pick out so I can live vicariously through you! 😉

Love this!!! So Cute!

I LOVE these 🙂
My first baby arrived this summer and a parent of one of my students gave my little girl one of these books! I can attest to their preciousness! Teachers know that not all children's books are created equal…but these are quality books! The writing is great and the illustrations are beautiful. The name works into the writing naturally; it doesn't sound forced in the least bit. We were given "God Loves Clara," which has Eric Carle-style collage illustrations. This will be a treasure in our family for years!
Whatever we can do – as Moms, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, Grandmas, Grandpas, etc etc etc – to encourage a lifelong love of reading will be money well spent! Enjoy spoiling that little nephew! ~Deb

I used to have some personalized books when I was younger and I thought they were the coolest things ever! Your nephew is going to love them!
