Happy Birthday to Me!

Hello, teacher friends! Yesterday was my birthday and it also happened to land on fall break, so I’ve had four glorious days off work. They.were.so.needed. My husband had the entire week off, so we were actually able to spend some time together. I shut down Design by Christi for the long weekend so I didn’t have any blogs to design, which meant I stepped away from the computer for a bit too. But, now I’m back and getting into going-back-to-work mode. Boo! 😉

Here’s a little recap of my weekend:

Birthday cake with my favorites- polka dots and bright colors!
Trip to a glass blowing factory- bought a blown glass seashell!
Surprise! You get to make your own blown glass. What?!
Trip to the original Graeter’s ice cream for peanut butter chip- yum!
Dinner at my favorite- Bravo! where we had our first date ages ago
Shh… birthday wine. I picked the left two based solely on the polka dots.
Time to blow out the candles!
Ended at the bottom of a dog pile for a girlie movie

Obviously, it was a nice little break. =) In case you missed them this week, I have a couple odds and ends for you too. First up, my Scotch Expressions Tape giveaway started this week. There’s still time to enter to win your own box of 15 rolls like the ones I used to make this clipboard.



Then a big Educents clip art deal also landed this week. It’s loaded with tons of art, papers, frames, and fonts for your classroom or products.

  6. Happy birthday!! I don't want to get too cyber creepy, but are you from Cincinnati?! That's where I grew up and I know that the Graeter's market is limited to Cincinnati and a few other places in Ohio. =)
