By request, I finished my Santa math craftivities. My turkey math craft was so popular (and challenging for my students) that I decided to do two different versions for Santa. I ended up making an addition/subtraction version for second/third grades as well as a multiplication/division version for third/fourth grades.
Because I teach third grade, I’ll actually be using both versions in class this year so it’s a perfect way to differentiate. The finished project looks exactly the same, so most students won’t even notice they’re working on different skills. Sneaky, I know.
Students have to solve number sentences and then color pieces from a Santa scene using their answers. This is a great way for them to check their work. Plus, they’re having fun coloring, cutting, and gluing so it doesn’t feel like work. I love a worksheet that is more than a worksheet. 😉
You just print and go, no prep needed! Then your students work their magic to build this cute little scene. They can illustrate the background too to put Santa in his own little winter wonderland.

Christi, I teach Kinder now but still follow your blog! It is always so cheerful and full of fun and meaningful work for 3rd graders! I really like your Sandy Hook logo. Is this something others can use on their blog?
Thanks for always having such great posts!
