Hello, 2014! I am sneaking on super quickly to link up with a couple of my favorites today. Then I’m going to disappear into craftiness for the rest of the afternoon. I will finish those projects, darn it!
First up, January Currently!
Can you tell I have a ton going on?! My husband is in med school so he’s been off all winter break with me. It’s been awesome to spend time together, but he has been working on a few projects too and has the office MES-SY! I took a picture and threatened to put it on Instagram for the world to see so he’s up there moving stuff around. I’m hanging low down here on the couch. Not going in there, people.
But I am loving the time together, the shopping, and the extra puppy cuddles. I really do love my third graders, but these nice long breaks always make me wish for more time at home too. It’s been so nice to shop, craft, sew, catch up on movies, and generally just enjoy life at a slower pace. Maybe I’ll retire. 😉
We did quite a bit of traveling for the holidays too. My family is in Louisville so we traveled down twice last week (just over 3 hours one way). We went once for my extended family Christmas and once for my parents’ Christmas. Of course we forgot the 5 pounds of Oreo Snowballs I made for my brother. Duh. My hubby shipped them off though, yay hubby!
My sweet nephew is 18 months old now and was just too fun opening presents. He’s super into Little Baby Bum on YouTube so Aunt Christi was so happy she brought her laptop. I got lots of baby snuggles in while we watched with me. He already know so many of the little finger plays that go with the songs from his school. Adorable! I’d love to post pics but this is still the internet and he isn’t my baby. Sigh. 😉
I want to see what you’re up to also so go link up!
Okay, I think that’s it. My half-finished projects are calling my name. Time to be productive. Here’s to hoping they turn out well so I can share them!

I enjoyed reading your currently. Your threat of an Instragram photo of the office cracked me up.
Psyched to be in 2nd!
The Instagram photo idea is genius!!! You are too funny. I found you through Farley's link-up, but just saw that you are a Jamberry Nails gal. I will be sure to get in touch with you next time I order! I love the no-drying time…that was the deal maker for me! 🙂
Teacher at Heart
I am obsessed! They're just too easy. Can't paint my nails to save my life. 😉
We will be playing Wii- Just Dance and Zumba are on the menu. Happy crafty day!

My Second Sense
It is the best when you get time with your husband! It does make a mess! We spend 4 hours cleaning when we got up this morning just to get the house back into reality of our daily life!

I have so enjoyed getting to "know" you this past year! Best of luck in 2014!!!
A Tall Drink of Water
My husband is a teacher at the same school I am at, so we always have the same breaks. It is so nice to be able to share time with one another at a "slower pace life."
I hope you finished your craft projects!!

I love the Instagram Threat! Opportunity is a great word, I've loved reading everyone's words, such great choices!
Have a great 2014!

How did I not know about #husbandshaming ?!?! I am SO using that in the future. 🙂 Glad you've had some time at home with the hubs during the holidays. It's always nice!
