Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are you’ve heard of Go Noodle. 😉 It’s a fun, interactive way to get students up and moving in your classroom. We all know that an awake brain is a brain that’s ready to learn, and Go Noodle can definitely help with that. I’m teaming up with a variety of Bloggers to share lots of ways you can use Go Noodle this school year, plus each one of us is giving away Go Noodle swag too, yay!
I wrote a full review last year when Go Noodle was new, so I’ll skip all the details and share the results I’ve seen. My absolute favorite way to use Go Noodle is during transitions. After we switch gears from specials to lunch to recess to math groups and then back to home room, it’s been a loooong time out of our classroom. The students have been mixed and matched for hours and it’s like they haven’t seen each other for days when we get back together. Having a quick, fun activity waiting for them when they hit my classroom made all the difference in getting us back on track to finish the day strong. I mean… look at them! It’s not often that you see everyone engaged and all on the same page. Priceless.
Even though that’s priceless, the good news is that Go Noodle won’t break your teacher budget. There are lots of free options to get you started. If you want to visit the Go Noodle shop, use coupon code BTSwithGoNoodle to take 15% off this week only. You can grab lots of fun Go Noodle school supplies to pump up your class. I would sometimes have students compete to see who could most accurately follow the directions on the screen and reward the table, girls, boys, etc. with a treat. You have the chance to win this cute pencil pouch here on my blog. Enter to win by leaving a blog comment. If you’re already using Go Noodle, tell me your favorite part about it! If you are new to Go Noodle, give me another good back to school tip. Giveaway over!

Last year’s team used GoNoodle a lot, so I’ve slowly added it to my routines this year. The kids love it!
I let the kids choose the next activity so I’ve had to’let it go’ and let them be silly and playful during the song picking time.
My class loves GoNoodle! We have used it for brain breaks daily and indoor recess! They kids can not wait to be the DJ so they can pick their favorite. Thanks,
I love using GoNoodle all day long! My kinders transition so quickly when I put one on. Just like magic!

We love GoNoodle! We use it to get our brains going throughout the day and also to celebrate birthdays. My 5th graders have loved singing the birthday song from Koo Koo Kangaroo. Makes their special day more special!

I love the variety!
my class is super squirrely, and we gotta get the wiggles out!
I love using GoNoodle as an alternative during indoor recess.
I will be a newbie, but I cannot wait to start working with this in my room. My tip is to put things away instead of letting them stack up….daily works best!
My students love go noodle and all of the dancing…they ask for brain breaks all the time.
